This summer, I took a road trip with my parents to Denver, where we attended the farewell talk for my friend who left to serve an LDS mission. At a friends-and-family-get-together after the talk, I met an awesome girl my age, named
Ana Dodson.
Ana Dodson.
She told me about her non-profit organization that she started when she was just 11 years old!
It's called Peruvian Hearts, and they work to bring nutrition, education, and health care to poor children in Peru.
Here's a quick blurb from the website:
[hint: click on 'website,' and it'll actually take you there]
thank you, ana!
because of you, and all others involved in your organization, these children enjoy better lives than they would have otherwise. it's people like you who make this world a better place!
you are a difference-maker,
and that's beautiful.

...peace...
[and happy two-days-after-thanksgiving!]
