and running running, and running running

In high school, I ran cross country:

2007 - The American School in London

Now, I still enjoy a long distance run here and there, but I mostly do sprints.
(For my favorite type of workout, see CardioWaves.  BYU's Barbara Lockhart came up with it.)

I love running for many reasons.  But one very important one is that it gets me outside of myself.

You see, when you run, there's no hesitation.  You just do it.  You don't stand around, fearing you're not ready--You just go!
And once you go, you don't stop, wondering if you did the right thing.  Or change your mind and decide to turn around.

Often I need to do that in other areas of my life, too.  When I know what's right, there's no room for hesitation, fear, or doubts.  Just go with it, with all your heart.  Commit, and don't look back.

beautiful thing:
faith, active faith
